Keith Richards rates the 20 Best Singers of All-Time, according to Keef. Pretty interesting. It's not my Top 20, mine would be far different, though I'd pick some of the same singers that Keith picked, like the one and only Aretha Franklin "The Queen of Soul." I Love Aretha and she is one of my favorites of all-time, I don't know if I'd make Aretha # 1, though I can see it and would not argue with it or Keith at all, though I think my # 1 spot on the 20 Best SIngers of All-Time would probably go to "The Chairman of The Board," Frank Sinatra. Keith left out Mick Jagger but put himself on the List at the number 20 Slot of The Best Singers of all-time. I Love Keef, but he would not be on this list for me, but on the 20 Best Rock Musicians of All-Time? Yes! And who the Hell is Toots Hibbert in the number 7 spot? Never heard of him. Not on my list.

Yes I've heard of Jimmy Cliff, and I like him, not on my Top 20 Best Singers List. Nor Tom Waits, another singer I like, just not part of the 20 Best Singers of all-time. Willie Nelson I can see. Though Willie is not a great singer, he is damn good, and his style and delivery, I can see as a top 20 singer. Bonnie Raitt is great, as is Elvis Presley, who I'm sure would be # 1 on the List of millions of hardore Elvis Fans in America, England and around the World. Warren Zevon? Damn good singer but not on my Top 20 List. Aaron Neville, top 20? Yes, he's an amazing singer. Great voice and great delivery, with his own unique sound. Mavis Staples, another great singer and good choice by Keith. Buddy Holly, one of the founders of Rock and a great performer, just not on my Top 20 Best Singers of all-time list. Muddy Waters, one of the greatest Blues Singers of all-time, I guess he can go on the list. Otis Redding, Best 20 Singers All-Time? "HellYeah" !!! And I guess Smokey Robinson too.

Keef clutching his Bag for dear life ?

Keith Richards at the Airport

Keef is clutching on to that bag for dear life. Wonder what's in it? I think I know.
I'm pretty sure I know, but I won't say anything. Well, we all know the Keith loved Heroin,
and this picture was taken when Keef was still heavily into drugs. Anyway, glad Keith made it through all the Heroin and other drugs. Sadly so many great ones, like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Amy Winehouse didn't. I'd day that Keith Richards was very lucky? Very Lucky indeed.

Keith Richards McRIB Recipe

The ROLLING STONES & The McRIB

"Watch The VIDEO"

KEITH RICHARDS The ROLLING STONES & The McRIB

Keith Richards, Ron Wood, and Charlie Watts talk about the McRIB, how much they all love it, and how they were worried whether it would ever come back or not, as well as if their band The ROLLING STONES would ever tour again or not. They were quite worried as they love ordering tons of McRib Sndwiches for themselves and their crew wherever they are and when they're on the road doing concerts in various cities around the World, whether they're in New York, New Jersey, Philadelfia, Baltimore, Chicago, Boston, Sydney, Milan, Rio, or whereever, The Boys want their McRibs. Only problem, they never know wehn they can get them, so Keith Richards did some leg-work and came up with a solution. Keef found a recipe on how to make and re-create that awesome sandwich that the band just can't get enough of, the McDonalds McRIB Sandwich. Keff says, "the recipe is in The Badass Cookbook, and it's absolutley Badass. Problem solved.

Keith like to make McRibs at home for himself, his wife Patty and the kids, but he's not going to make them on the road for the band and their large crew, so the Rolling Stones have hired Chef Daniel Zwicke to tour with them and make McRibs, Chili, Buritos, Tacos, and other items the Rolling Stones like to eat when they're all on tour. Wow, Keith, what a brilliant idea.

So there you have it folks, the Rolling Stones fix on that now age-old-problem of the usual unavailability of McDonalds beloved McRib Sandwich. Make them at home. The recipe in the Badass Cookbook, by Daniel Zwicke, and is available in paperback and Kindle on Amazon.com

Mick and Keef in Positano

Positano

Mick

Mick Jagger did an Interview with Rolling Stone Magazine in 1995 .. This little tidbit below is an excerpt from that interview. Mick talks about being on a little vacation in Positano with Keith. They wrote Midnight rambler in that little town on the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy in the Summer of 1968.

Question :  Who wrote “Midnight Rambler”?

Mick Jagger : That’s a song Keith and I really wrote together. We were on a holiday in Italy. In this very beautiful hill town, Positano, for a few nights. Why we should write such a dark song in this beautiful, sunny place, I really don’t know. We wrote everything there – the tempo changes, everything. And I’m playing the harmonica in these little cafes, and there’s Keith with the guitar.

MICK and KEEF Write a SONG

This is a great shot of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, hanging out, maybe writing one of their many hit songs. Look at Mick looking so nonchalant, smoking a cigarette, as Keith plays on a Acoustic Guitar. You gotta love this picture.
